LM 6mm – to fit all LM types, can be recommended for old E61 style group machines, including old san remos – by old i mean the group has some wear
E61 5mm – recommended for all E61 style groups with production year of 2023 or newermost E61 machine nows come with 8.5mm thick seals, using the E61 5mm handle will help it fit best, specially if the customer has also purchased an HE pesado basket, which adds 1.1mm to the total thickness

** LM/E61 portafilters come in 6mm (fits machines older than 2023 and worn group heads) and 5mm (fits machines built after 2023 with 8.5mm seals, especially when using HE Pesado basket)
